Intake air humidification system using special adiabatic panels. The panels, placed in front of the heat exchangers on the air intake side, are homogeneously saturated through a distribution system without recirculation of water. The air, passing through the panels, increases its humidity and becomes cooler according to the different operating conditions.
“PADS” panel for water distribution, located above the air intake.
Mounted and wired electrical switchboard; a speed controller (R, I, U, D) mounted inside the control panel regulates the adiabatic system.
Solenoid valves to drain the system.
Safety thermostat to drain the system during cold months.
Pressure regulator to regulate necessary pressure and valves to regulate exhaust air.
Multilayer UV resistant piping.
Humidity sensor to control ambient humidity.
Advantages
The unit can be selected to match the design air inlet temperature, which is significantly lower than the ambient temperature (TCALC << TAMB) (see psychrometric chart example).
A smaller sized unit with a smaller heat transfer surface may be selected.
This device can be used to cool the liquid to a temperature lower than the ambient temperature.
The industrial adiabatic system in combination with electronically switched “EC” fans, “Intelliboard” PLC or speed controller, reduces energy consumption, noise emission and optimizes water consumption.
